January Events

Super Saturday is back! We invite all men and women to join us on Saturday, January 9, for our monthly breakfast fellowship for each group. This is your chance to get to know your brothers and sisters in Christ in a small group setting.

Life changing teachings are held by our Mighty Men of Valor and Women of Purpose leaders! You don't want to miss this month's teaching. Plan to spend about two hours of your time with us. Breakfast begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. Don't forget to bring a friend! For more information, call the NZCC office at 678-845-7055. Childcare is provided.

NZCC will partner with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital® Sunday of Hope Program on Sunday, January 10. During the service on Sunday, you'll have an opportunity to give a donation. The fraternity is expected to surpass $1 million in support this year of an original commitment of just $500,000. The Entrepreneur's Round Table (ERT) will kick off its monthly seminars in 2010 with a power packed session on Qualifying Your Business under Special Diversity Classifications. Join us on Monday, January 11 from 6:30 p.m. as ERT's director, Otis Collier, gives you insight into how most government agencies and Fortune 1000 companies set aside funds to do business with certified small businesses.

If you have a business and would like to learn the requirements to become certified, you should attend this meeting. In addition, you will learn how to find Fortune 500 companies that have Supplier Diversity Programs.

ERT is held at New Zion Christian Church's Business Office each second Monday of the month. RSVP to ert@newzionchristianchurch.org.

Monthly Events

Meet the Pastor and Learn About Your Church. Learn everything you need to know about NZCC at Meet the Pastor and Learn About Your Church. New exploratory members and guests are invited to attend this informative orientation session held monthly at NZCC, which includes a Q & A discussion about the church as well as an official church tour and review of the NZCC new member booklet.

Apostle Pleasant and Pastor Kimberly also attend the session. No RSVP is required. Snacks and refreshments will be served. For more information (e.g., session times), members can contact their personal pastors and guests can call 678-845-7055.

Baby Dedications. Babies under the age of four are dedicated monthly immediately following the 9:00 a.m. service in the main sanctuary. To check the availability of a dedication date for your child, call 678-845-7055.
